I’mmmmm Baaack!!

Ok, so needless to say, I failed miserably at the 365 project. I should have been taking photos this whole time to document what was going on in my life, but really time and worry took over. Now to explain where I have been….. Blondie started having issues with dizzy spells, numbness in her hands and now her vision going black when she stands. We have now spent countless hours in multiple doctors offices trying to figure out what is going on. We ended up having to go out to Ohio for a MRI with our Neurosurgeon. The good news is that there is no sign of the brain tumor! What a relief that is! We really didn’t think it could be that since the symptoms that she is having now are not the same symptoms she was having when she was diagnosed. The scan did show some fluid built up near her brainstem. We are not sure yet why that is there or if that is causing her problems or not. We are now waiting for an appointment with a new doctor that specializes in Brain tumors, specifically late effects of Brain Tumors.  I apologize for the delay in a post. I tend to feel guilty for taking time to blog when we have so much going on, but I also know that this is something positive that I really need in my day, so I am going to try to do better in the future. I think I am going to hold off on trying the 365 project right now, at least until things get figured out here. I will still randomly post my photos, maybe one a day maybe one a week, I am really not sure, but I will do my best.  Thanks for being so patient with me!! It’s good to be back! Here is a pic for today…….

Catch up

I am playing catch up once again, but here you go days 8, 9 & 10………

Dimples has been begging for a mommie and me day, and she finally got it. A day at the pottery shop painting her very own puppy and then ice cream after that. We had a great time!

She really does have a sled. I’m not quite sure why she chose a chair to try to slide down the hill on, but I guess whatever makes her happy, right….

Normally at this time of year in the frozen North we have a deck full of feet of snow, sooooo I am not going to complain about this tiny little bit of snow!!

A little behind…

I figured I would have issues posting my pics everyday, but I had to give it a shot. I had no trouble taking the pics, just no time to get them posted, so I have decided I will post them here weekly on Saturdays. So here goes the rest of my week…..

So here is day 4, my new sink and faucet, I know, I know its the littlest things that excite me, but I absolutely love my new faucet so much that it had to be my photo of the day!

Day 5 is Blondie’s first attempt at baking all by herself. I must say that they turned out quite tasty!!!

Day 6 was my first day of doing the Personal Running Trainer program. I must say it feels good to run again!

Today, Day 7 was spent at Red’s swim meet. He did an amazing job! He has only had 5 days of practice since he broke his arm and he still managed to come in with a new personal best dropping 2 seconds off his time, and got a First and Fifth. Way to go Buddy!!
